Xu, Xin created this installation x jewelry about abortion rights and aims to give women a voice in this issue.

Created with laser-cut acrylic, an etched QR code provides a website link where people can record thoughts about abortion rights as part of the health equity. They can also hear the voices of others, connecting them together like the links of this project.

Xu also uses lighting to draw attention to the reflective shadows on the wall to symbolize a reflection of the times we live in. The reflective shadows also project on viewers’ body and become body ornaments, which encourages viewers to cherish their being.

In addition, people can take a ring out of the links and wear it as rings, bracelets or pendants.
